Every time I rent with Auto Europe I am always amazed at the savings. I have not ever had an issue when picking up my rental car. The complete transaction is seamless and pleasant.

They partner with local car rental companies - in our case, we were in Gran Canaria and when we got taken to the local car rental company, the first thing they tried to do was sell us more insurance even though we had already purchased insurance through Auto Europe. The local company explained if we had any damage it would be easier to sort if we bought direct with them as opposed to going back to Auto Europe for a refund...we declined but they weren't wrong. The car ended up having some minor damage on one of the wing mirrors costing around £40 and the process we have had to go through to try and get a refund has truly been ridiculous. We still haven't gotten there yet. I can't even imagine how stressed I would be had the damage been a more significant amount of money I was trying to recoup. Truly awful customer experience packed full of bureaucracy. They have the relationship directly with the local car company - why on earth they can't make this easier for customers I simply do not know. Well, yes I do know - they don't want to refund customers so they make it as hard as possible for them. Would not use Auto Europe again - absolute scammers.

I am 79 and drive 25000 miles yr in 3 vehicles including a motor home with no accidents or tickets for decades so why should I have to furnish extra health and car insurance letters. I ski, surf, take bike trips etc.

My rental car booking experience with Shavon was excellent. He did all the searching I needed to enable me to pick up and drop off based on when the local car rental offices were open/closed. He also found the most convenient locations and the most comfortable and affordable car for us. I had tried other rental car sites without success. Even Auto Europe website could not confirm a reservation, but when I called and talked to Shavon, he worked around the problem. Thanks!

I booked my Budget/Avis car rental with Auto Europe and they acted on my behalf at the completion of my rental to get back the money owed to me from Budget.
Budget charged me 436 Euros for a tablet I didn't receive and despite all my efforts to communicate with them, they dismissed my case. Auto Europe went to bat for me and managed to convince them to return my money. They stand behind their customers and I would definitely book with them again. I will never book a car from Budget/Avis again and don't recommend them.

Easy to book reservation. We always do 0 deductible when renting in Europe. Website made it easy to find the price with 0 deductible. Also...much cheaper than going direct to the car rental company. Prior booking went very well so have confidence in booking thru Auto Europe.

Most of information needed to make a decision are available online. Having driven a Renault Captur "stick-shift"in Spain in 2017, I know it has excellent space and an efficient engine. Having just interacted online, I cannot so far speak of my experience short-leasing a car. I have however made a reservation with Auto Europe in 2020 through HERTZ and can say that the agents were friendly and very helpful to cancel my reservation because of Covid-19.
